Graphic from Sky Safari app showing the eastern horizon with the constellation of Gemini and the meteor showers radiantThe Geminid’s peak tonight! The meteor shower starts around 9pm (once the constellation of Gemini rises) and comes to us straight from asteroid 3200 Phaethon (instead of a comet!).

Those living under very dark skies can expect to see 100 meteors per hour! City dwellers can expect to see 1 per minute.

Bundle up and enjoy the year’s best streaming outdoor show!
